About Us

Hi, I’m Cassidy Quick, MA, CCC-SLP, founder of Around the Spectrum Therapy. I received my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from West Chester University and am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech and Hearing Association. I have experience working with children from the ages of 1 to 21 with a variety of speech and language needs in homes, daycares, and the school setting. I am passionate about strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy that is focused on teaching children through play and through honoring their own interests.

I have continued education and experience in identifying, evaluating, and supporting children with complex communication needs. I specialize in working with children who use delayed echolalia (gestalt language processing) as well as children who are non-speaking or minimally speaking that would benefit from alternative methods of communication. I strive to offer a child-focused alternative to the behavioral methods that are often recommended to neurodivergent children.
